As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for expanding and growing our US business. You will use your sales, negotiation and leadership skills to prospect, conduct lead generation techniques, and sell Gemini’s Big Data management, automation and security solutions. Regional lead reporting to VP of Sales to develop and execute sales campaigns to drive 3x pipeline and close deals
Identify and develop strategic opportunity plans for target accounts by leveraging existing regional contacts
Nurture and develop our Partner network through account-mapping exercises
Develop relationships with local technology partners to increase pipeline
Work closely with your technical counter-part (SE) on sales presentations, proof-of- concepts and overall
Collaborate with marketing team to develop regional sales campaigns
Work closely with Business Development Rep to increase pipeline
Develop sales best practices securing repeatable and expansive opportunities across regional accounts
Meet/exceed assigned opportunity creation goals
Conduct a minimum of 5 onsite meetings with prospects/partners per week
Desired Skill and Experience
Account Executive with 10+years of experience in the software industry
Previous experience in working for a start-up organization
Proven track record of quota achievement over the last 4+ years
Background in Big Data (Splunk/Hadoop)/Analytics/Security solutions
Experience selling SAS and Cloud-based solutions
Proven ability to sell to the C-level within an organization
Ability to work closely with marketing to develop and manage sales campaigns
Team player able work with SE and inside sales to produce opportunities
Proficiency using Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator and DiscoverOrg
Strong attention to detail
Self-starter able to work independently but also as a contributing member of a team
