Prospect, educate and qualify Inbound leads to create sales-ready opportunities
Call cold and warm prospects in target accounts to introduce technology and successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
Follow the established pre-sales process by consistently using Salesforce.com to document prospect interactions - ensuring efficient lead management
Collaborate with marketing teams to qualify leads, measure program effectiveness, and provide feedback
Schedule product demos for qualified prospects
Meet/exceed assigned opportunity creation goals
Partner with a field representative
Support attendance to all field marketing events
Desired Skill & Experience
1+ years of experience in an inside sales, prospecting, or customer facing role; within the IT industry (BI, data analytics, security software, risk management software, hardware or networking performance)
Comfortable reaching out via phone ("cold") prospects
Consultative sales experience and challenging companies/business to think differently
Successful in finding and uncovering new opportunities with prospects and existing business, cold calling and hunting for business
Proven track record of exceeding goals and quota
Consistent track record of success in consultative sales environments
Able to commute daily to our office in San Francisco
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A logical and analytical thinker
Demonstrated negotiation skills
Strong computer skills – Salesforce.com system, Word, Excel, etc.
Exceptional organizational skills with the proven ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks to meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Self-starter able to work independently but also a contributing member of a team
